The company was set up by a group of entrepreneur to actively manufacture and produce Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) from Agro Based Product.
Product Overview
Celluloseis an organic compound with the formula ( C6H10o5 )n, a polysaccharide consisting of a linear chain of several hundred to over ten thousand β (1→4) linked D-glucose units.
Cellulose in nature is a highly ordered structure and it is also regarded as a polyalcoholic compound as each glucose unit within the molecular chain bears three hydroxyl groups that makes the cellulose a solid state polyalcohol.
Carboxymethyl Cellulose is an anionic, water soluble and biodegradable polymer on natural basis and it is also the most versatile of all water soluble hydrocolloids.
CMC was developed in Germany during the World War I as a potential agent for gelatin.
During 1930s CMC was used to eliminate the redeposition of soil on fabric during washing and rinsing.
